Through thorns to the stars – A Famous Novel

Story briefing:

In the future at around the 23rd century, the starship Pushkin discovers an alien spaceship with no origin. The members in the spaceship resemble humans. Most of them were dead and there was only one female who survived.  Sergei Lebedev who was the main leader of the entire mission brings the female alien in his home and named her Neeya. Neeya had totally lost her memory and now she is well settling in this life. She discovers that she has some powers within herself. Ivanova is a friend of Sergei Lebedev who has been doing a research work with Neeya’s brain. It was found that Neeya has a special neuro-center inside her brain which assists in controlling the humanoid clones.  This was the main thing that was found after analyzing Neeya’s brain.

One fine day, Neeya went to the beach with Sergain’s son Stephen. Ivanova in the mean time has triggered the system and Neeya feels on the water as she could not control her body. With this Neeya was now able to recall some of the memories of her planet where she observes a man who is explaining the various purposes of the control system. Suddenly she realizes that someone is pulling her out of the water. It was Stephen. The story goes on like this and we don’t want to spoil your fun to tell the entire content.

Some analysis about the novel

Not each and every one of us is an avid reader. We try to get an ultimatum on whether to read or not to read based on the analysis. Writing literature analysis mainly focuses on the plots, facts, and structures, etc. These facts should be used and applied by the author to make a lovely piece. This is one of the most important forms of writing that an author should consider. Although sounds tough, it is a rather very easy thing. The novel ‘Through thorns to the stars’ was a unique one indeed. The alien named Neeya was quite unique in her character. Neeya performed well in the entire novel. The woman creature had some powers which could easily distinguish her from others.  Sergain was the leader and head of the entire mission from earth. He was the man who discovered Neeya from the alien spaceship and brought her to the earth. This is the place from where Neeya starts her journey. She did every bit human but there were some special characteristics that differentiated her from others.

These characteristics were discovered by Ivanova one of the friends of Sergain. She was the only person who found that there was some neuro center inside Neeya’s brain that totally controlled her movements. There are several instances and circumstances that were shown in the novel which clearly focussed on that part. At the end of the novel, we find a monster named Astra with whom Neeya wages a war. Astra was defeated and he left Neeya on this earth.

This is the fact and theme of the entire novel. The novel was quite interesting. The author had written each of the elements of the novel very minutely. At one point it appears that Neeya may be defeated before Astra but the entire novel ends beautifully. Neeya settles down in this earth and gets habituated with human behaviors in the end.
